Brian's Mission

Brian's Mission

Brian's Mission

As a retired Police Officer and Marine Corps Veteran, I work passionately to help First Responders and Veterans all over the United States find their path to healing. From treatment to aftercare, I help individuals find the way to thrive in their recovery.

Within the National Marine Corps League, I developed HAMSAL (Help A Marine, Save A Life), which is a presentation of mental health, substance use, suicide awareness and prevention, and my journey. This program has also been prepared for First Responders and Veterans, additionally for the non-profit community.

Services

Brian's Mission

Brian's Mission

As a dedicated First Responder Recovery Coach, I offer placement and guidance towards treatment, while additionally educating and mentoring individuals on effective recovery practices. I help First Responders and Veterans navigate daily life in active recovery through lived experience. My goal is simple: guide, set goals, foster peer connection, encourage accountability, and offer resources. I work hand-in-hand with both First Responders and Veterans through the recovery process, ensuring that we achieve successful outcomes for long-term recovery.

Placements I offer and work towards are as follows:

- Treatment Placement (Inpatient/Detox/Residential)

- Aftercare Placement

(PHP/IOP/OP & Sober Living)

- National, State, and Local Resources

- 1-to-1 Peer Paracounseling, providing vital peer support for First Responders and Veterans.

Approach

Brian's Mission

Approach

Approaching each individual with empathy and compassionate care, I draw from my experiences as a retired Police Officer and Veteran who understands and has lived through the trauma and recovery process. As a retired Police Offer and Veteran, I understand the struggles and stigma attached to wanting help, getting help, being vulnerable and becoming better. We don't do this alone, and we can't do this alone.

I passionately and wholeheartedly relate to everything involved in finding the right plan for recovery. I take these approaches with everyone I come in contact with that wants to find their way, when they are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

PLEASE NOTE

A recovery coach is not a licensed clinician and cannot provide clinical diagnosis. Instead, this role offers non-clinical guidance, mentorship, and accountability to individuals seeking or maintaining recovery from addiction or mental health challenges. Focusing on support, guidance, and resource connection to compliment clinical treatment.
